I plan for my next collection to have a bit of both patches and clothing items, so I can see what people are more drawn too, but I wanted to get some input from you first!

If you bought a patch from me, it would have iron-on adhesive on the back, allowing you to set it in place with an iron before securing it down by sewing a simple straight stitch around the edges. It’s not too complicated and can be done by hand or machine, but it is a bit more work than just getting a finished piece.

But it’s more accessible to everyone, and I love that! So let me know what you think.

I also like to keep a note on my phone with a list of every idea I come up with (no matter how unachievable it may seem) to help me when I’m stuck, and it keeps me from forgetting any ideas I’ve had.

As soon as I decided on making a collection of winter/Christmas sweaters, I knew I needed to make an ugly Christmas sweater of ugly Christmas sweaters. Look at all of these tiny little embroidered details and appliqués!

I really struggled figuring out what to do with this sweater. I decided on cookies on one side and stockings on the other, but after I added the cookies, I realized that stockings looked too busy. Sometimes simple is best, and I often struggle knowing when to stop working on an art piece.

This is basically a three-in-one interactive piece. The mailbox flag lifts and lowers, the mailbox is a full sized pocket to hold things, and the letter inside is a pouch that opens and can also hold things!! Tagged size 18W/20W and available on 11/20 with many other interactive winter sweaters!!

What things would you put in the mailbox? I think it would be really funny to wear it when you go to get the mail and actually put the letters in the mailbox sweater. And maybe I’d use the envelope as a coin purse.
